Entrepreneur.

Entrepreneurship has always been my dream, and after having my miracle baby boy, Ferris, I realized it was a now-or-never moment to jump in and become an author with a product the world needs. I created the I’m Very Ferris (IVF) children’s picture book series focusing on IVF through a child’s perspective.

Ferris is my last embryo and the answered prayer of faith, love, and science through in vitro fertilization.

In 2020, I unexpectedly survived sudden cardiac arrest and was diagnosed with takotsubo cardiomyopathy. With this new life, I decided to heal through helping others by competing and fundraising to win Indianapolis’ Inaugural Woman of Impact with the American Heart Association and Go Red for Women. I also started a podcast called Titling Tess, a place for people to tell their stories of courage, strength, and resilience.

Taking my business to a new level, in 2022 with certification from the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, I am so proud to announce I am now a Fertility Health Coach with a specialized focus on heart health. Because no one should have to go through the ups and downs of fertility alone.

Now a little about me, personally…

I love to host parties and celebrate life, no matter how small the occasion!

I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from Elmhurst College, which is also where I met my best friend and husband, Dan. We have a Havanese dog named Gatsby, a Siamese cat named James Bond, and a Tabby cat named Mirabel.

I am a mother, first and foremost, and everything else comes second. I believe you really can have and achieve anything you want…but you are going to have to work for it, understand it might not all happen at the same time and expect nothing to be handed to you.

My husband often calls me his real-life Steve Jobs because I live my life by the following:

“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
